As I left Hawaii in the mid spring of 2023, I went from a group of ten strangers, to a party of six old friends in Las Vegas, Nevada. Getting together with these girls was so good for my inner child, more so my inner teenager. Most of us met in highschool, some sooner, all of us graduated from the same highschool- the same year and we all celebrated our 40th birthday's within six months of each other. We had adjoining rooms at the Luxor and let me tell you it was like one big sleepover. Lots of laughing and tons of good memories were made together. I felt so blessed to have these ladies by my side in Las Vegas.

People always ask me, "Brandy, what do you love so much about Vegas?" Because I am always going on and on about how much I love Vegas. Could it be that everything is larger than life? Is it the boujee shopping centers? Is it the smell of money and the energy of winners in the casino? Is it the endless choices of amazing restaurants? The countless celebrities performing? DING-DING-DING!! It is ALL of the above. I have been fortunate enough in my life to visit Las Vegas twice now and each time providing a unique experience.
Since I flew seperatley from Hawaii, I ended up being the first of the six to make it to Vegas. I could not contain my excitement and had to go exploring by myself the first day. If you plan on visiting Vegas, do yourself a favor and chose comfort over cuteness when it comes to your shoes. The thing about Vegas is that every resort is big, huge, gigantic, and it seems like you have to walk FOREVER just to get to the front door. So, trust me, if you are planning on walking around the strip, take care of your feet!

As I strolled along Las Vegas boulevard I was blown away with how BIG everything was; every sign, every advertisement, every shopping center. Everything is so much larger than life. My eyes were in a wonderland of advertising overload, the colors, the signs, the lights, the glitz, the glam, I was mesmerized.

Do not worry, if you cannot find this location, you will see about 100 more on the strip as these flavored Daquiri's are very popular on the strip and at most Vegas bars. Beware, some of them can be very strong! Make sure you ask how many shots they are putting in your drink!

Dinner with a view! This was such a fun night and it was also the night I received my first marriage proposal in Vegas. Jimmy the Armenian cab driver really loved me, but I was not ready to settle down. Anyway, this picture was taken outside the Foundation Room Restaurant, atop the Mandalay Bay. We had a delicious dinner there. Although you should be prepared to know that most of the dishes you have to order à la cart. Meaning you have to pay extra for each side dish. But, if you have nice friends then you can order some to share. And if you do not have nice friends well then I suggest you get new ones.

This was my first trip with all of these ladies together and we are now planning at least one trip a year. I just suggested a five year plan to Greece, or perhaps Spain, so one day I am hoping together we will make it out of the country. Wherever we go, whether it is Greece or Cissy's backyard, I know we will always have a good time because we are together.

As we said goodbye to each other and everyone headed home, I was headed on my first trip, completely solo, to Los Angelos, California. After two group trips back to back, I was ready to explore on my own.
